Covered on top, bare on the bottom

I don’t know why, but right now i am obsessed with pairing long sleeve shirts or jumpers with short shorts and skirts. Even though we’re in the middle of a bloody heatwave here in Sydney and it’s probably more of a autumn/winter trend…I don’t really care haha. I think it’s the whole relaxed look of the pairing that I’m attracted to.

I think there are two types of people in this category. Those who like showing their arms or cleavage and those who like showing their legs. I am definitely the latter. Showing that extra bit of skin through the bottom half of your body, I think is a little more sexier and tasteful than showing your boobies. Don’t get me wrong, theres nothing wrong with that but I think legs are a subtle way of grabbing the attention of that hot guy over there.

Werk it guurll!

Tan Line City

Praise the Lord! The sun is shining, the rain is no where to be seen, it has been a good week. If you haven’t noticed I like to dress according to what the weather will be like. So what comes with all this awesome weather… the beach!

Me and my sister started to make it a habit of when the weather is really hot and the beach is high tide, we like to take our dog down to Thirroul Beach so she can enjoy the surf. Watching your dog swim at the beach is the cutest thing ever. If you don’t have a dog, just live vicariously through me.

Minimalistic

I know I just made a post about bright, fun patterns and colours but I don’t know about you but I am also really drawn to minimalist style. Meaning minimal accessories, minimal makeup, clean neutral colours with subtle hints of pattern and texture. It might seem boring and overrated but there’s something I find very attractive about having a clean and fresh look. I think having a neutral wardrobe can make a bigger statement nowadays. Not that I’m dissing bright, bubbly colours, I love that sh*t but sometimes you just need a clean, put together look.

Print Mania!

Now that Winter is finally ending and Spring is just around the corner, I cannot wait for bright colours and fun patterns to come back into my wardrobe. Hopefully then, I can get out of this Winter Wardrobe Funk!

Obsessed with…

Alexa Chung!

Not like that there isn’t a zillion blogs already dedicated to her. Don’t hate, appreciate!

Round Eye Protectors

I’ve always had a love for round sunnies mostly because of this obsession I had in high school with Twiggy and mod style. I think round sunnies adds a little quirkiness to an outfit just because of how round they are. Personally I am in love with white thick framed sunglasses. They’re just so friggen dainty and cute.

I scored these sweet babys at the Victorian Markets.

Awww yeahh…

Hats Hats Hats

I love wearing hats, even when it’s not a typically sunny day. I find that wearing hats, even when its cold, not only gives a little something extra to an outfit but also is a good way to keep warm.

When in doubt…

…wear a button up.

Winter Street Wear

Here in Australia it’s winter right now and it can get pretty cold. It is kind of bad timing because it’s hard looking for winter wear ideas when all the good fashion blogs/YouTube videos are on the other side of the world and are showcasing the new summer trends. Nonetheless I’ve gathered some winter wear ideas to help us brave this annoying Sydney chill.

^ This looks so damn snuggly!
